Each course contains high quality video tutorials from Hugh and the rest of the team. These will help guide you through your chosen subject. Each topic is broken down into easy steps, which can be printed out so that you can digest them at your leisure. Along the way are little quizzes to help you test your knowledge!
There are also great resources, like recipes from the River Cottage team and lists of suppliers and helpful organisations.
When you’ve completed a course, we’ll even send you a River Cottage Course Certificate, signed by Hugh!
"I bought the online courses originally as part of the membership but having gone through them it's almost like having personal tuition from the River Cottage team on a one to one basis, with the added bonus you can ask them to rewind and say the same thing all over again if you are having a dim day. I do like all three but I do keep returning to the butchery parts of the Pig and Pork course because you don't get that from a book. I've revisited all the courses a fair bit to top up on things I might have forgotten and it's quite a nice way to while away half an hour at lunchtime, (or if you can't decide on anything for dinner!).
In terms of value for money they are excellent as you can return to them as many times as you like and are pitched at a price which is similar to what you would pay for a DVD about the same subject.
As for recommending it, I've already bought it as a Father's Day present and raved about it to my friends. I look forward to future online courses. Keep up the good work!"

"I was bought a membership because I am very interested in the subjects of the courses on offer and because I am a big fan of Hugh. My favourite course was the Pig and Pork, once I started I couldn’t stop and completed each course in about a day.
They were very easy to use and I liked the video demonstrations that accompanied it. I have learnt a lot from the courses and I cook along withdemonstrations.
