Come and have 'Lunch in your wellies' with the River Cottage Team. Our Sunday events at Park Farm give you the chance to find out more about what we do at River Cottage. You'll see how we grow and rear our own food using environmentally sound methods, and, of course, taste plenty of it for yourself.

Beginning at midday, you will be greeted with tea and coffee. In the hour before lunch you’ll have the opportunity to visit our animals, the kitchen garden, the orchards, and allotments. Canapes are served as an appetiser to your delicious lunch.

Just after one o'clock we will sit down to a delicious seasonal lunch in the threshing barn using some of our homegrown produce.

Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunity for you to chat to members of the River Cottage team, including our kitchen team, who will talk you through today’s menu. You will have time to ask questions and, we hope, go away inspired, informed and with plenty of food for thought.

Hugh doesn't attend this event.

Seasonality:  This event runs from April - October

Location: This event is held at River Cottage H.Q on the Dorset/Devon borders. Full address details of H.Q. will be provided once you have booked.

Wine/drink: We are a licensed venue. We also have a Bring Your Own policy and we do not charge corkage. We have a wide selection of the finest organic wines. We will be serving organic cordial and iced water from our own well.

Accommodation: If you need local accommodation, click here for a list of hotels and bed & breakfasts, recommended to us by our customers. We do not have camping facilities but for information on local campsites and self catering accommodation, call the Lyme Regis Tourist Information Office on 01297 442 138. They will be very happy to help.

Age: The minimum age on this event is 5yrs of age, although we cannot offer you a discounted rate for children. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. We put these guidelines for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all our guests.

Time: 12pm to 3.15pm.

We operate a E-ticket system. Once you book you will receive 2 emails, one confirming your payment and the second with all the details of the day including a map, directions, address and details and advice for the day.
