What better way to celebrate the weekend, than with an evening of delicious food and wine at River Cottage HQ?

Saturday Nights at River Cottage involve a delicious four course set menu, prepared by the River Cottage chefs.  The menu always showcases the best  seasonal ingredients from our farm and local organic growers. The team will also talk you through all the dishes before you sit down to enjoy them.

In addition, we will carefully select some of the finest, organic and in some cases,  local wine, to accompany your meal and a bar is also available.

Dorset and Devon have many very talented entertainers, and they will be entertaining you while you enjoy coffee and petits four. The evening draws to a close at about 11.00pm.

Pre-register for Summer Decking Tickets: We have just built a brand new decking area which could seat up to 30 extra guests. If the date you want (July-September) is sold out, register your details below and we will let you know if extra seating becomes available on that date.

Typical Autumn Menu

Canapés

Drunken Pollack and spinach rarebits

Fried squid, garlic mayo

Rabbit on toast

  Bruschetta with fresh caponata, seared lambs loin, dressed autumn leaves

Mussels with cider, leeks and cream

Beef in beer with ceps, chanterelle and cauliflower fungus, mash potato, buttered carrots

Time: 7.30 to 11.00pm

Wine/drink: We select some wine to accompany your meal and we a have licensed bar serving the finest selection of local and organic wines also. We will be serving organic cordial and iced water from our own well. We also operate a Bring Your Own wine policy and do not charge corkage.

Location: This course is run from River Cottage H.Q on the Dorset/Devon borders. Full address details of H.Q. will be provided once you have booked

Age: The minimum age on this event is 10yrs of age. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. We put these guidelines for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all our guests

Accommodation: If you need local accommodation, click here for a list of hotels and bed & breakfasts, recommended to us by our customers. We don't have camping facilities but for information on local campsites and self catering accommodation, call the Lyme Regis Tourist Information Office on 01297 442 138. They will be very happy to help
