These clever coconut husks are ideal for planting seeds (you may have seen them here at Park Farm if you came for the River Cottage festival this summer)

 

The husks are soaked in water for a short time untill they expand, then a seed can be planted in the husk and it will grow in the hust untill it's ready to be planted in the ground!
