Polgoon Sparkling Peren is a unique Cornish Champagne-style top quality sparkling perry made using exactly the same ‘traditional method’ used to make Champagne made by Polgoon Vineyard in Penzance.  It is bottled in a traditional glass 750ml Champagne bottle and sealed with a real cork and metal cap.

A second fermentation takes place within the bottle, as in traditional Champagne, gives both products the finest bubbles and a super fine long lasting mousse.

The Peren is a light refreshing and very refined drink.  Crisp and lively with a fresh nose it has delicious perfumed fruit, just off-dry with balancing acidity.  On the palate it’s soft and creamy, the fruit is elegant with a long, attractive finish, with subtle honey tones.  Light in alcohol it is only 7% vol.

Delicate and sophisticated, it is superb served as an aperitif, share a bottle with friends, or enjoy as a celebratory drink.

Polgoon Sparkling Peren is a recent winner of the ‘Taste of the West Silver Award 2009.
