Hugh’s throwing open the gates of Park Farm this Summer for a River Cottage Members' Party! (Click on the link to find out about our Membership) He’d like you, our members, to come and join him and our favourite River Cottage friends for a really special, and typically River Cottage night, that’s packed full of fun. Start with a glass of sparkling cider in the garden, before feasting on fantastic River Cottage food. Afterwards you’ll be dancing your socks off to a local band.

Beginning at 6pm, join Hugh in the Kitchen garden, sipping local sparkling cider and eating delicious seasonal canapés. Also joining the party will be some of Hugh’s friends - These will probably include, Ray Smith our expert butcher, John Wright of foraging fame, River Cottage Gardener, Mark Diacono, Pam ‘the jam’ Corbin and Richard Hicks our larger than life poultry keeper.

At about 8pm, we’ll sit down to eat, in banqueting style in our marquee. Gill’s specially chosen menu for the evening will include roasted meats, sourced from Park Farm and local farms, whole roasted fish caught in Lyme Bay, served with salads, and homemade fresh bread. The main course will be followed by delicious summer puddings, plus a selection of local cheeses.

There will be a Cider Bar with around 10 different fantastic West Country ciders, plus a range of local and organic wines.

During the evening, you can try out your skills on the skittle ally, and after dinner you’ll be able to dance till midnight to music from a local band!

Additional Information

Tickets: This event is exclusively for River Cottage members. If you would like to become a River Cottage Member - click here to find out more. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can buy, all you need to be is a member to purchase them.

Location: This event is run from River Cottage H.Q on the Dorset/Devon borders. Full address details of H.Q. will be provided once you have booked.

Wine/drink: Dining will take place in a marquee for this special event, so we won’t be running our usual BYO policy. A well stocked bar will be available on the night. We have a wide selection of the finest organic wines, local ciders and Stinger beer. We will be serving organic cordial and iced water from our own well. A glass of local sparkling cider for everyone is included in the ticket price. This will be served on arrival.

Hugh availability: Hugh won’t be able to stay the whole evening, but the party should give you a good chance to meet him, if you haven’t already.

Accommodation: If you need local accommodation, click here for a list of hotels and bed & breakfasts, recommended to us by our customers. We don't have camping facilities but for information on local campsites and self catering accommodation, call the Lyme Regis Tourist Information Office on 01297 442 183. They will be very happy to help.
