Hugh's catch of the day

This is the moment Hugh landed the catch of the day on a brand-new River Cottage Catch and Cook course.

The hands-on one-dayer is the latest addition to our programme of events at our Plymouth Canteen in Royal William Yard.

Hugh was road testing the course alongside head chef Gill Meller, head of events Steven Lamb and invited guests.

The new course starts for real next month, and tickets are now available to buy online.

Thom Hunt, from the Channel 4 programme Hugh's Three Hungry Boys, will be hosting the course from April 24 onwards.

As you'll see from our video above, Hugh's '20-pounder' swam happily back to the reef on a beautiful day in Devon.
