Book table in Axminster

You can reserve your table at the River Cottage Canteen and Deli in Axminster here.

There's no need normally to book during the day - simply drop by and join us for coffee, a cake or a spot of lunch prepared by head chef Tim Maddams and his team.

It is advisable to book if you're joining us in the evening for dinner or Sunday lunch. You can also do that online here.


It's easy, free and will take about a minute:

1) Select your preferred date, time and number of guests and hit 'Find a table' on the widget below.

2)  Confirm your time, then let us know your name, number and email. We won't share this information with anyone else, promise.

3) Let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you visit and hit 'Complete my booking'.

4) We'll send you your confirmation number, and all the relevant information by email to your inbox. 

5) You can cancel, or edit your reservation at any point.
