At the River Cottage Deli you can watch delicious River Cottage fare being prepared for you by one of our deli chefs for you to eat in or takeaway.
We have sandwiches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, our deli board and other tasty treats being prepared throughout the day.
Nestled beside the Deli you’ll find a wide range of provisions including cured meats and sausages, curds and cheeses, pies and quiches, bread and
cakes, beers and ciders, wines and spirits, plus lots of River Cottage gifts in addition to our books and DVDs.
You can also create your very own deli hamper, crammed with truly delicious local produce.
"We’ve been celebrating the arrival of our fantastic new Deli counter at the Axminster Canteen, which has transformed the space at the front into something really special," said Axminster Canteen Head Chef Tim Maddams.
"The counter itself has been crafted from old oak wood and inside you’ll find all the same delicious produce we’ve always offered," he added.
