Corporate Events at River Cottage
Spot of team building?
Here at River Cottage HQ we can provide private versions of any of our regular courses which include hands on butchery, fish skills or bread making.
We can offer team building activities such as venturing out on the River Cottage boat to catch your own fish, to building your own wood-fired clay oven.

The day will include learning various butchery skills; learn how to make a basic loaf plus other bakery skills. We’ll also cover fish preparation and cooking.
Be prepared to work hard, with this very interactive course, as you dig the mud, mould the clay, and knead the dough. Everyone will get their feet dirty mixing the mud.
You will be shown how to catch, clean, fillet and cook a selection of Devon’s finest inshore fish. Regular catches include mackerel, bass, bream, and Pollack.
Here you can relax in front of the fire in the spacious dining room (or in the kitchen garden in the summer) as your personal chef prepares a sumptuous seasonal meal.
River Cottage HQ is located on the Devon/Dorset border. Our nearest train station is Axminster which is on the Exeter line, 2 ¾ hours from Waterloo.
A guideline cost for a group of 10 guests for a full day at River Cottage HQ start at £350* per person. Private dining options start at £95* per person.
