This is what happiness looks like

Woifey
by Woifey

Today is the first blue-skied drying day we've had this year. And I am simple-hearted enough to derive huge pleasure from line-dried bedding, as opposed to stuff dried on the airer indoors.

What's your picture of happiness?

Unexpectedly early spring flower pictured earlier today, even if we do have a bit more winter, the thought of spring just round the corner makes me almost burst with joy......:

Even an early daff or two amongst the snowdrops:

I can smell the wonderful clean scent of line dried sheets from here - nothing quite like it!

Lovely photos, especially like the way the sun is shining through the daff.  I would take a photo of dry concrete in the yard, but you may find it a bit boring, but it is the first time it has changed to a lighter shade in ages, and makes me happy, because it means not only is it not raining, it is drying!   Yeeehhhh!

HH I know exactly what you mean about dry concrete. My drive has been MUD since October. The minute it hardens up with the sun I'll be jigging with joy.

Dave- the colour of the muscarii makes me sigh with happiness. Your daffs are way ahead of mine, but I just love the anticipation of Spring.

Hots- a path I'd love to tread Smile

Lovely pictures. I took the first pictures on a phone of my own yesterday.Smile When I have found a way to download them I will try to post them. Crocus in the Bishops Garden at Chichester with attendant bees. Bees were definitely collecting pollen, but not too sure if they were after nectar too.

Everyone's very happy this weather! The heating is airlocked in work, so at the minute this would be my pic of happiness...

Yesterday, I had the same photo as woifey though.

  • .@Eco_Gite It spreads like mad so not in the veg patch, better in a big pot, but it does take nearly a year to produce good sized roots.
  • . @Lou_la_may Default topping is a sprinkling of soft brown sugar but a trickle of runny honey is also great. #askHugh
