I've seen several people praising a Panasonic breadmaker - but which model please? There are several and I can't afford the wrong one. Our old Morphy Richards breadmaker is not performing properly and we are fed-up with wasting flour and time producing very serviceable building bricks instead of loaves!
If you go to Bread Machine Reviews there is a comparison chart for various breadmakers. I bought the Panasonic SD-YD250 and am more than satisfied with it. It has over 700 good reviews on amazon, has an automatic yeast dispenser. The crust setting also works very well.
Would definitely recommend the SD255. We have had this breadmaker now for 3 years and haven't purchased supermarket bread since. Easy to use and the recipe book has all types
of bread and dough recipes. Mix white bread flour with barleycorn flour and add some seeds for a fabulous loaf which makes great sandwiches and cut thickly is great with soup and pate.
SD 253 ,must be around 6yrs old, still works well.
We have the panasonic SD255. Cannot fault it. Have had for three/four years now and still use it all the time. Also use it alot to make batches of dough. For exsample for rolls or lardy cakes. I dont think you will go wrong with any panasonic bread maker. good luck
