River Cottage

I was lucky enough to get a voucher for a RC course for my 40th and had been thinking about the fish course but have just read 2 really disappointing reviews after a number of glowing reviews. The poor reviews were posted earlier in April - can anyone else who'e been on a fish course at RC recently give any more feedback

Hi my husband read in a blog recently that Mark is no longer working at RCHQ. Is this true and if so we would be interested to know what he is doing instead and where he now working. We were surprised as we have heard nothing through the official RC channels.

I have been following both Hugh and John Wright for some time now. By now i'm understanding that others are branching off from the success and outcome of River Cottage. However, I am wondering about Hugh? Will there be a new River Cottage season this year (2012)? Or is this the begining of the end to the amazing quirky Hugh that we've grown to know so well? How do I go about undertaking a summer placement with river cottage?

I am currently studying mechanical engineering at loughborough university, however I have a deep passion for the culinary arts and an experience with River Cottage will help satisfy my need to futher improve my understanding of food. A summer placement would help me to gain some pocket money towards my MSc in renewable energy systems.

I am a site manager at walsall alotments, west mids. I have seen your programme about plots available, I have 30 plots available in walsall, west midlands. It would be great to get some media coverage on your site to advertise this, as many pople are struggling for them. If people know they are avilable we may get more people growing their own!

This might be a strange question...no meat, fish or veg involved. But Hugh wears an arrowhead necklace my other half absolutly loves and I was wondering where he got it from please. I would like to find him one for christmas!

Love the program, a breath of fresh air. My question is not over foods.....on the above program when you left Dorset you set off in a RED 4 wheel drive yet when you arrived in Scotland you were in a GREEN Land Rover.........just wondered why the change.

Hi Folks,
Nice to be part of the River Cottage site. Question? Did Hugh’s Parents or some relation used to run the Fox and Goose Public house in the village of Foxt, North Staffordshire? Some years back, I remember the chap who I saw in there was a double of Hugh, the question has puzzled me for many years can anyone clear this mystery up for me.

would you be intrested in doing a show on what a wasteful nation we are and my father would like to present a show on living of a landfill site/recycling center and live for a year . he is intrested in these subjects and would be hounered if you would do this.
