Italian Courgette Starter

Courgettes with olive oil and lots of garlc are slowly cooked until tender, a little bit brown and sweet. Very simple but can be used as a starter or salad to nearly everything (of course not sweet ;-))

Ingredients
  • per perso: 1 small courgette, 1 garlc glove, salt, olive oil

Directions
Slice the courgettes thin, if you have larger ones then cut the courgette in half or quarters. Put into a large enough pan. Add sliced garlic right from the beginning, salt only later (so that it can brown before letting all the water out). Cook gentle and not too hot, stir from time to time. Ejoy the smell and prepare your other food in the mean time. It kind of cooks by itself, does not need a lot of attention and can be kept in a jar (filled up with olive oil) for weeks in the fridge.

I am cooking this tonight because I thought it sounded simple & tasty :o) Serving it with home-made spag bol & stacks of yummy garlic dough balls :o) Will get back to you about the yummy factor of this dish!!!!! :o) x
