It is a typical Hungarian one-pot dish. It's very nice to prepare it outside on an open fire.

Ingredients
  • 3-4 potatoes per person (cubed)
  • 4 tbsp oil (goose-fat)
  • 2-3 fat onions (chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (cut into pieces)
  • 2 paprikas (sliced)
  • a nice smoked sausage (cut into bites)
  • red pepper, cumin, bay leaf, salt and pepper

Directions
Put the chopped onion in the preheated oil, when it becomes glassy, reduce the heat and pour a tbsp of red pepper on it, then quickly add the tomatoes, paprikas and the sausages. (otherwise the red pepper becomes bitter) After a few minutes pour some water in it and add the potatoes. Season with the listed seasonings. When the potatoes are tender, the dish is ready. Some people like adding small galuska / noodles just before the potatoes are ready. galuska: 1 egg + about 100gr flour, salt Jó étvágyat!
