Home made vegetable crisps - simple.

Ingredients
  • Beetroot
  • Parsnip
  • Carrot
  • Sweet Potato
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Salt

Directions
Peel vegetables. With potato peeler peel very thin slices. Dry slices using old teatowel or kitchen roll. Brush lightly with vegetable oil. Season with salt. Bake on bottom shelf of oven at 180 degrees celsius (fan oven) for about 8 minutes. N.B. Don't leave them! Watch them as they go from not done to done very quickly. They will be ready when the parsnips are golden brown and crispy. Bake a small batch at a time so you can improve cooking times and not ruin all the vegetables. If they are big slices turn them over half way through cooking.
