With the range of UK bubbly's I have found here I feel little inclination to return to overpriced champagne. I can proudly support UK produce and get a delicious drink at the same.

Product Details
Polgoon Sparkling Peren is a unique Cornish top quality sparkling perry made in the traditional style by Polgoon Vineyard in Penzance. It is bottled in a traditional glass 750ml sparkling wine bottle and sealed with a real cork and metal cap.
A second fermentation takes place within the bottle this gives both products the finest bubbles and a super fine long lasting mousse.
The Peren is a light refreshing and very refined drink. Crisp and lively with a fresh nose it has delicious perfumed fruit, just off-dry with balancing acidity. On the palate it’s soft and creamy, the fruit is elegant with a long, attractive finish, with subtle honey tones. Light in alcohol it is only 7% vol.
Delicate and sophisticated, it is superb served as an aperitif, share a bottle with friends, or enjoy as a celebratory drink.
Polgoon Sparkling Peren is a recent winner of the ‘Taste of the West Silver Award 2009.
