How to prepare your garden

One: Choose a sheltered, warm, sunny site if possible, around 10m² (ie, around 5m x 2m).  Dig the area over with a garden fork, removing large stones and creating as fine a tilth as you can. Adding organic matter such as composted manure or garden compost will improve soil structure.  Use planks or stepping stones to avoid walking 
on your newly prepared ground.
 
Two: Once your plants have arrived read through the growing guides and choose how you’d like to plant your garden.
 
Three: Plant the plants into the ground using a trowel to create planting holes and a string line if you want to plant in straight rows. Give them all a good drink of water.
