I've just seen Virginia's egg curry, so I decided to add my stew. When my kids were small we often had it for dinner with home made Hungarian noodles (nokedli) and home made pickles.
On 11th November most families in Hungary eat goose. St Martin was born in the nearby town, Szombathely, and this is a tradition to remember him. (see the legend of St Martin).
It is a typical Hungarian one-pot dish. It's very nice to prepare it outside on an open fire.
