We love simple, good quality ingredients especially, mainly of Italian origins but we are ready to experiment with any enticing ingredient. Around 2 years ago we used to run the Bocconci restaurant in Valletta, Malta. Alas, today we have all returned to our desks but our passion for food still remains and thus we have created this page to share with our readers our ideas and inspirations. Yesterday I could not attend to my regular appointment of preparing Sunday lunch thus I left everything in the hands of my mother. No matter how adventurous I am in the kitchen, I always look forward to eat some traditional dish prepared from a knowledgeable cook! Mum was always a cooking enthusiast, she was our primary source of inspiration and nowadays she is our reference point for any cooking tricks, tips and traditional methods.

Halloween is round the corner and its pumpkin time in the kitchen! We had in stock 2 colourful oblong pumpkins with which I decided to make a lasagne. The lasagne sheets we prepared home-made with egg pasta dough. For those of you who do not have free time to do them you can freely substitute these with ready-made lasagne sheets.
