Hi
We have around 30 ex-bat hens who after being rehabilitated are doing well. However we noticed one was rather lethargic yesterday just sitting in one of the nesting boxes. When we checked her nose she had a small amount of mucus coming from it and she was quite messy around her back end .We gave her a warm bath which she seemed to really enjoy and have had her sitting in a box on top of the rayburn (which isn't on!) for the last 2 days. She seems quite happy and is eating and drinking, but doesn't seem at all bothered about moving around. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong with her, or what we could do to aid her recovery. All the chickens are regularly wormed and their housing treated for red mite.
