Souffle omelette with peaches and cream
this is a family recipe that after my mum passed away was lost. but I found it again and added a couple of my own touches. You could put anything topping wise with this. enjoy
My Very addictive kick ass chilli
I dont know what it is about chilli...but now I'm addicted. I cant get enough of this chilli......enjoy. cheat if you have no dried chilli us some chipotle paste ....to your preferred strength and taste. the smokey flavour of both help make this chilli....peeerrrfect!!.
Chocolate Torte
HEAVEN This is very chocolaty but still very light....an adult only dessert LOL Chocolate orange version add the zest of 2 oranges when folding in flour
Cauliflower Cheese Risotto crispy sage topping (or crispy sage & chilli oil topping)
My addition to the spring menu competition at river cottage. With cauliflower still in season, although not hughs favourite veg this risotto is a cracker. to add a flourish you can add bacon on the top or my favourite sage leaves fried in olive oil and sprinkled over the top with the sage oil from the pan drizzled over the risotto (If doing the chilli sage oil option once leaves removed add chilli to warm olive oil and then pour chilli sage oil on top)
Aromatic Leek and potato soup
This is a lovely soup lightly spiced with garam masala, so a slight twist on the classic dish enjoy my winter warmer
The ultimate Plain/Fudge/chocolate shortbread
I cant make enough of this shortbread, great for a fast treat or present and just to enjoy Great to make with kids An additional twist to this recipe is to add a handful of plain chocolate chips to do a chocolate chip version.... delicious
