Hi quick question for the poultry experts, I have a black rock hen who seems to be retaining water in her abdomen, shes 2 years old, I thought she was egg bound but on examination it just feels like fluid? Any ideas what I'm dealing with?
Hi I have just been gives a mincer/ sausage maker and I'm looking for some recipes, I have a few basic pork recipes which i'm going to try, but would like some suggestions for beef, poultry , venison and salamis.
We're planning on planting a fruit garden this spring. We ( luckily enough) have plenty of space and want to plant a decent variety of trees & bushes. The site is on a slope and is mostly south east facing, surrounded by trees. Any advice on size of site, site prep, fencing, what to plant? The idea down the road would be that we could make an income from the fruit plot. Cheers
