River Cottage

I'm Hugh Fearrnely-Whittingstall and Ive got a lot of friends

I escaped to river cottage where excitment never ends

The place is full of furry animals and veg

here comes my mate Garry, we're going to lay a hedge

I downsized to Dorset a few years ago

I've a pasture and a medow that John will help me mow

You should try the same as me and come down from the smoke

The Eel pie I made today is enough to make you choke

My little river cottage is where I do reside

It nestles in the heart of the Dorset countryside

Im going fishing now, may even catch some Squid

It's all so much easier with my 20 million quid

I leave the hard work to some friends

while my cow I try to ride her

Its a little bit tricky with a bellyfull of cider

you need some quirky tounge and a silly beard or face

to get on my TV show, where I look a compleat discrace

I've been at river cottage 10 years and 20 days

I've met a lot of friends and I've caught a lot of Squid

Iv'e added up my pennies.... I've got 20 million quid.
