I have searched my cupboard for something suitable for baking No Knead Bread (http://steamykitchen.com/168-no-knead-bread-revisited.html) but all I can find is a very cheap, thin metal mixing bowl. It says on the box, that I conveniently still have, that it is made from stainless steel, but it does not say if it is ok for using in the oven. Should I risk it? or keep searching?
So Im struggling to find ideas for my partners lunches... he is VERY fussy and it costs us a fortune in bought snacks, which we can no longer afford. So far he has agreed to egg sandwiches (made with egg, butter, parsely, salt n pepper) and bacon and egg pie. Because I am really busy, I cant be making him fresh egg for his sandwiches every day, so what Id like to know is.... How long can I keep the egg mixture in the fridge for, before it turns? Also... how long can you keep bacon and egg pie for? does it freeze well?
When I was a little girl, my mother made some biscuits that had Dandelion flowers in it. They were a bit strange but delicious. Mum cant even remember cooking them, so I have no recipe. Is there anyone out there that knows of a recipe, any recipe, I will try them all until I find the perfect one.
