Stuffed Oinions with Liver and Mushrooms

These filled onions can be served as a starter or a main dish - depending on the size of the onions. With lots of spices it tastes delicious, despite the lack of fat. The oinions are filled with a mixture of onion, chopped liver, chopped mushrooms, breadcrums and lots of herbes. It can be served with cooked potatoes ore white bread.

This dish way not look wonderful, but is tastes great and is very satisfying on a cold evening. It can be prepared advanced and does not need to much attention while cooking, so perfect for entertaining guests and cooking at the same time. And the smell that starts spreading when finished will delight everybody. The recepie comes originally from Bucharian jews.

Chicken legs cooked in some kind of a letscho/guvec - tomtaoes and red peppers. But spiced up with ginger.

Italian Courgette Starter

Courgettes with olive oil and lots of garlc are slowly cooked until tender, a little bit brown and sweet. Very simple but can be used as a starter or salad to nearly everything (of course not sweet ;-))

stuffed courgettes with spelts, beans and feta cheese

A vegetarian dish for hot summer days. Satisfying and filling! Even children like it. The courgettes can be used in all sizes (also overgrown), it is stuffed with a mixture from spelt, feta cheese, beans, basil and hazelnuts. Baked with a topping of bredcrums, herbs and ground hazelnuts. The courgettes are set on a bed of tomatoes, chilis, onions and peppers.
