i found this recipe in my long search for the best loaf. its the best i found it is soft, keeps well and easy to make...................and delicious as well. i make the dough in my bread maker and then turn it out into tins.

hi i have been looking for a good mix of ingredients that go into salt preserves for meat and was wondering if anyone had a mix of herbs that has worked well for them.

as i am new to this i really don't want to jump in feet first and muck it up because i have been over zealous with one or two herbs or spices.

what have you found to be the best style feeder ?

i have an ex+batt called pie,(my hubby says she will be ) who has broken two feeder and manages to kick the food from the other three types of feeder i use.
as soon as the food goes in she jumps in feed first and kicks the food every were.

we have the green plastic (3KG TUBE FEEDER FOR CHICKENS) she spins until it falls apart,a trough feeder that she kicks and nudges until it falls over and a heavy wooden box style feeder that she jumps in feet first to kick the food out.

if i put treats in in a bowl the other cooks end up covered in it.

any ideas or recommendations to what you feel is the best feeder.

she has also split two water drinkers trying to get all the water out.

we have two 6 x 4 sheds set up in a way that there is a three foot covered run in between as well as an 11x3 run at the front.

how many chickens would you put in this?

we have 6 at the moment but do not want to overcrowd them.(they are ex-battery's)they have the use of both shed and the run in the day.
