Good tray bake. I make them in a swiss roll tin or similar tray, and double the quantity I have here. I also make lots of pastry to have in freezer, so I can whip up a batch for the kids to take to school midweek. The dearest ingredient I find is the ground almonds, so I try to buy in bulk.

Originated in Virginia USA 1828. Rabbit can be used also. From the 'Everything Wild game Cookbook' by Karen Eagle. Remember measurements are american, you may need to adjust slightly, haven't tried this myself.
