baked butternut squash mash
This is a very traditional American recipe, often served with turkey at Thanksgiving. In fact it is a great accompaniment to roast turkey or roast chicken, and my family would not consider a Christmas Dinner complete without it. I now grow my own butternut each year (they store well for very long periods through winter).

asked by lb1 onONION MARMALADE
Onion marmalde is DELICIOUS AND VERSATILE. This is my daughters recipe. It has so many uses. Wonderful companion to any type of sandwich/baguette, Ploughmans Lunches/base for soups/with Baked Ham/With baked Sausages/ and don't forget - add to Soured Cream for a nice "dip"! Onions are presently plentiful. You can use Red, Yellow, or White or....a Mix.
orange & grapefruit marmalade (Microwave)
With cheap oranges on the shelves of the supermarket at the moment, I took advantage of half price fruit, and obtained this FAST MICROWAVE RECIPE from the Internet! Result - GREAT. Could not be easier. Could not be faster. Could not be cheaper. Remember - there are no preservatives in home made jams and jellies - so I store mine in the fridge.
