Howdy all,
Life is running along smoothly here on Lilly Pilly Farm. The sun is out, the veggies are growing madly and i have just organised my first two pigs for our farm.
hooray!
I have always had a wish to have my own pigs, and grow them out and recently found a couple of Wessex saddle-backs, as we call them in Australia, that are about 12 weeks old. I spoke with a local breeder a few years ago and finally have all the fencing and shelter in place, to be able to put it all into motion.
I pick them up in a couple of weeks so i will post some photos when i have the little piggies here.
In the mean time there are many lovely things to keep us busy on Lilly Pilly Farm

A new chicken roost, made from Eucalyptus Branches, a old broom handle and a garden Stake :)

A group of lovely veg, scarlet nantes carrots, Bulls Blood Beet and a chioggia beet

A Tray of lovely new seedlings almost ready for planting out.

A Sweet haul of Corn

and of course a couple of photos of the lovely Pirate Veggie Gardener, outfit made with love by Mummy!
I hope February Brings all of you a lovely time and hopefully, depending on which hemisphere your in some lovely winter or summer veg.
