Sticky Strawberry Spread with a Very Cherry Twist

This is a spread that is lovely on sandwiches in the winter for a refreshingly summery taste. Best served with homemade bread toasted and served with pale, sweaty butter.

What are the best pancake toppings?

I love pancakes, and I really want to know what other people serve them with. If I am going sweet I add lemon juice, sugar and a handful of berries and maybe a little nutmeg, if I'm going savoury I melt some cheese and ham together, add it to the pancake and roll it up. Mmmmm

This very Greek style sauce was discovered when I was a small child in Greece with my mum and brother. Now, we use it with steak, or any Greek platters we do. It is perfect for cooling of the mouth after something spicy, and is super yummy. Makes one average pot.

Does anyone else beyond the age of 10 or 11 enjoy snacking on ice (read my blog for the full story)? I am in my later teens, and today discovered the deliciousness. Does anyone else around Christmas time enjoy sucking and nibbling on icicles?
