How long will it take for a 2.8kg boneless turkey breast take to cook & what is the best method? (I am asking on behalf of a friend I only ever cook whole birds so was unsure!). She says it is wrapped in streaky bacon & not stuffed. Thanks in advance

Alternative to Cider Vinegar - Can I use white wine vinegar in a christmas chutney recipe instead of cider vinegar as I find cider vinegar a little to harsh. The recipe is 10 oz (275 g) ready-to-eat dried apricots
12 oz (350 g) pitted ready-to-eat prunes
10 oz (275 g) pitted dates
1 lb (450 g) onions, peeled
1 pint (570 ml) cider vinegar
2 oz (50 g) sea salt
1 level dessertspoon grated fresh root ginger or 1 heaped teaspoon ground ginger
3 oz (75 g) allspice berries
1 lb (450 g) demerara sugar

Jam setting Problem!!

I have used successfully a Mrs Beatons recipe for Raspberry Jam for many years and it has never let me down.....until today!

It wont fully set! It got to setting point fine and when tested on a cold plate it crinkled nicely, however since it has gone into the sterilised jars the outside and top has set but if I tip up the jar it wobbles about!!

I do not add pectin to my Jam the recipe is: per 450g fruit, 450g sugar (normal granulated) & quarter pint redcurrent juice (I use cranberry) I boil the fruit down for 30 mins then add the juice and sugar & rolling boil for approx 40 mins.

Can I do anything to fix it? My neighbour suggests reheating it and adding certo but I dont really want to add anything artificial! Have I just wasted 1800g of homegrown raspberries!!!
