Root to Fruit Cooking and Feasting with Tom Hunt (6pm-10pm)
Join Tom Hunt, award-winning chef, food writer and campaigner, in this evening cookery workshop and dinner. Learn how to reduce your culinary footprint, as well as improve the nutritional value, quality and sustainability credentials of what you eat.
In this demo-led workshop, Tom will guide you on how to enjoy every last morsel of the produce you buy. He will teach you how to make delicious recipes from around the world, as well as inspiring you with the idea of plant-based cooking. You’ll finish the evening with a dinner to enjoy the food that you’ve made, before heading home with Tom's sourdough starter 'Cleo', alongside a few treats you’ve rustled up along the way.
The course will take place in Borough Market’s Cookhouse venue, an open plan kitchen and dining space with a bird’s eye view of the season’s finest produce in the market below.
