Wild Food Cookery at Borough Market (9.30am-1.30pm)
Discover the bounty of nature with award-winning chef and author Gill Meller, in this half-day, demo-led Wild Food Workshop.
We tend to associate wild food with game, but there is plenty to be had throughout the year, and endless delicious ways to enjoy it. In this half-day workshop, you will be introduced to the world beyond farmed produce, with expert tuition from Gill Meller, and plenty of opportunities to sample your wares.
You’ll learn how to identify and forage ingredients, and how to prepare and cook a couple of wild dishes. With Borough Market as our larder, we have the opportunity to demonstrate how to work with the finest wild food of the season.
The course will take place in Borough Market’s Cookhouse venue, an open plan kitchen and dining space with a bird’s eye view of the season’s finest produce in the market below.
