Join us at River Cottage for a cosy lunch in TV’s most famous farmhouse
A River Cottage Farmhouse Lunch is the perfect way to enjoy our food and take in the glorious rural surroundings. You’ll tuck into three courses plus petits fours, served fresh in the very same farmhouse where you will have seen Hugh cooking, picking vegetables from the garden and entertaining friends on the River Cottage programmes.
With only 18 guests, it’s a truly intimate setting and we know you’ll love the experience.

Arrive at River Cottage
You’ll be met at the top of the hill and transported to the River Cottage farmhouse by tractor and trailer.
We’ll greet you with a seasonal welcome drink and you will have the chance to explore our idyllic surroundings.
As you settle in, your chef will introduce the menu and tell you more about our philosophy, the food’s provenance and how the dishes have been prepared.
The main event
You’ll be treated to three courses of fantastic local and seasonal produce, planned on the day to showcase the freshest and the best. We happily cater for any dietary requirements, which you’ll be asked to provide when booking.
Petits fours and coffee
After lunch you’ll unwind with coffee and petits fours (if you still have room), before being driven back up the hill by our tractor and trailer.

This dining event is run from River Cottage HQ on the Dorset/Devon borders. Full address details of HQ will be provided once you have booked.
