Field Feasts - 6pm
Throughout July and August, for one evening every weekend at River Cottage HQ, we will be spit roasting the very finest organic pork, beef and lamb, and serving them up as the centerpiece of a fantastic 3-course sit-down feast. Our vegetarian and vegan guests will also be sumptuously looked after, with a seasonal plant-based menu featuring barbecued vegetables from our own garden.
The spits and serving stations will be set up in the courtyard and kitchen garden, and the food preparations and service will all be carried out according to our new rigorous hygiene protocols and distancing procedures. Each group of guests will have their own private table set up in one of our fantastic new spaces around the courtyard and gardens.
The price includes a welcome drink and canapes, and a 3-course sit-down feast featuring a main course of organic spit roast meat, or barbecued veg, served with sharing plates (for each group) of salads, salsas and vegetables.
We ask guests to book as groups who are comfortable to sit and eat together, and to follow our guidance on arrival for safe distancing from other groups of guests, and our carefully planned service protocol for food and drink. You will receive an email with the most up-to-date details on this before your event.
We will be having two sittings so there will be fewer people on the farm at the same time and this will allow everyone time and space to have a wander and explore the farm and gardens before (or after) enjoying their dinner. Please choose between a 6pm or 7.30pm arrival.
Under 5's go free if not eating, please purchase a ticket for any child who will be eating.

You’ll be met at the top of the hill at 6pm by one of our team who will direct you towards the path to walk down to River Cottage HQ.
Welcome and canapés
Enjoy canapés and a seasonal cocktail on arrival, and take the opportunity to explore the farm and gardens before being shown to your table for dinner.
The Main Event
You’ll be treated to a three-course menu of fantastic local and seasonal produce, planned on the day to showcase the freshest and the best.
Please note: Hugh will not be attending this event.
