Joanna Cooke

Joanna Cooke will be on the Main Stage on Saturday.

Joanna Cooke has a voice that mesmerises whenever it is heard. From live performances in intimate local venues to recordings on tracks played across the world, her versatility and soul shine through.

Joanna grew up in the South West on a musical diet of blues masters Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf with added input from female jazz and soul greats Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin.

Growing success since has seen her repeatedly play over 120 live shows a year. These have included festival main stages and supporting major label artist Rag N Bone Man as part of his hand picked bill; plus JP Cooper. Joanna has appeared on local BBC TV and radio shows, with strong support from BBC Introducing in the south west and on a show aired on all 40 BBC local radio stations nationally.

CD copies of Joanna's single and two EPs to date have all sold out but her third EP will be out in 2018.
