Marine Monster Making

child3

Surfers Against Sewage are returning to the Festival to tell you about their valuable work and get the kids making monsters from marine litter. You can get involved before you arrive by heading to the beach, doing a litter pick and bringing your rubbish along for monster making!

Surfers Against Sewage are dedicated to the protection of oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife. They fight long and hard to protect what they love and won’t stop until these spaces completely clean, safe and protected for everyone, forever.

From humble beginnings in Porthtowan Village Hall in 1990, they've stayed close to their roots and continue to be based just up the road at our St Agnes HQ where they can keep an eye on the sea.

Just 12 people work in the office full time, but it’s really thanks to people like you who support our work through membership donations, volunteering, signing petitions, buying from their shop and spreading the word that allows their impact to be widely felt.

This is a free activity and all materials will be provided.
