Why not join us in the famous farmhouse for a delicious meal and the complete River Cottage experience?
Relax and enjoy delicious dishes created by Head Chef, Andy Tyrrell in the iconic farmhouse where Hugh has filmed so many of the TV programmes. The farmhouse restaurant will open from 11.30am – 4.00pm and will offer a different menu each day, you can drop by whenever suits you and tuck into two delicious courses. The Farmhouse Feast is just £20.00 for adults and £15.00 for children under the age of 12.
This is set to be a great dining experience and one we’re sure you’ll love.
Roasted baby beets, River Cottage soft boiled egg, anchovy, chives, kitchen garden radish
Celeriac and parsley soup, crispy lentils
Slow-roasted shoulder of River Cottage hogget, new season onion purée, grilled gem lettuce, spring onions, mint
Roast spiced cauliflower, split pea purée, crispy kale, green herb yoghurt & seedy dukka
New season's onion soup, onion top salsa, garlic croutons
Goat's curd, roasted rhubarb, pumpkin seeds, kitchen garden leaves & honey dressing
Roast River Cottage hogget, spiced cauliflower purée, herby roast potatoes, chard & mint yoghurt
Roasted new potatoes and baby carrots with lemon and spring onions, BBQ’d little gem, River Cottage poached egg & green sauce
As always we will do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements and there is a vegetarian option available for each course. However, please be aware that during the Food Fair we cannot operate our usual dietary procedures.
Please note we will not be taking bookings but if you pop by to the farmhouse we will hopefully be able to seat you on the day. If there isn't any space then there may be a short wait but we will try to accommodate all of our hungry customers.
The Farmhouse Feasts will only be available from the 26-27 May 2018, to attend the feast you are required to have an entrance ticket for the Food Fair.
