Project Food Fundraising Dinner

A special event in aid of local charity Project Food on the 9th September.

Every year for the last few years we have been very pleased to host a fundraising dinner for local charity Project Food and this year will be no exception. The event will take place on Thursday 9th September 2021.

This year, Hugh will be personally overseeing the menu, and joining guests for drinks beforehand on the evening.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of fine English Sparkling wine from Dalwood Vineyard in the Garden (weather permitting) before being shown into the barn for a 5 course meal, the menu devised by Hugh and River Cottage Executive Head Chef Gelf Alderson. Hugh will be there to welcome you and available to chat over drinks, and will be saying a few words ahead of the dinner. There will also be a raffle with some wonderful prizes up for grabs.

Project Food is a small local charity working with people to help improve their diets and enjoy better health. They support children living in food poverty and those struggling with their mental health to transform their lives and develop skills needed to cook and eat homemade fresh food. They provide long term support for people to gain the confidence to prepare balanced and nutritious meals.
