This intimate dining event in our historic and iconic River Cottage Farmhouse will be an unforgettable experience.
You'll be welcomed with a seasonal aperitif and delicious home-made canapés which you can enjoy in the garden beside the flowers and veg patch or - if the weather prefers - in the charming yurt around the wood burning stove. We encourage guests to take their time and make the most of our stunning location and have a wander around the farm and the garden before taking your seats and tucking into a sumptuous seasonal feast in the very same farmhouse where you will have seen Hugh and the team cooking and entertaining on the River Cottage programmes.
The menu is designed by our team of top chefs for each event to showcase the best seasonal ingredients from our farm and local organic growers.

Arrive at River Cottage
You’ll be met at the top of the hill and begin your River Cottage experience with a 10-15 minute walk through the wonderful pathways down to the farm, enabling you to really soak up the views of the valley.
Relax in the garden or yurt with a welcome drink and a canape or two. Take the opportunity to explore our idyllic surroundings.
As you settle into the Farmhouse, your chef will introduce the menu and tell you more about our philosophy, the food’s provenance and how the dishes have been prepared.
The main event
You’ll be treated to three courses making the most of the fantastic organic and seasonal produce, planned on the day to showcase the freshest and the best.
Petits fours and coffee
After lunch you’ll unwind with coffee and petits fours (if you still have room!) served in the yurt.
