Welcome to our birthday blog, an online opportunity for us to celebrate River Cottage over the last 20 years in all its wonderful glory.

As one of the original team, working with Hugh for 13 of those diverse and exciting years, I will be chronicling our daily life at HQ and sharing valued memories. This blog will also capture stories, anecdotes and expertise from our skilful contributors, hard-working team members and the fantastic wider community we meet and work with.

We will also bring you a wealth of food and garden inspiration - seasonal tips, recipes and practical advice – as well as news from our events, courses and Kitchens.
