Here you will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive. If you have a question that you can't find the answer to below please feel free to get in touch!
What time can I arrive?
Check in is between 3pm–6pm.
We will ask you to advise us of your arrival time the morning before your stay.
Late arrivals
If you require a later arrival please contact is in advance of your booking.
What time is check out?
Check out is by 10am.
Are children allowed?
When renting the whole house, children of all ages are welcome. Please note we do not supply children’s beds or cots and the farmhouse has a steep open staircase.
Can I bring my dog?
No, dogs are strictly not permitted on site.
Are drinks provided?
Tea and coffee and water will be available in the farmhouse kitchen for you to help yourselves to. We also have an extensive drinks menu.
Can I have a private chef?
To maintain social distancing and your's and our team's safety we are not offering a private chef or any catered dining options in the farmhouse. Your stay will be on a self-catering basis only. We can provide you a larder box of fresh food (at an additional cost) for you to prepare yourself. You can purchase tickets to any of our events taking place during your stay.
Towels, Linen and Toiletries
We supply guests with towels, bathrobes and bed linen. Shampoo and soap is provided.
Cleaning and services
To protect your safety, no members of staff will enter the farmhouse during your stay. Therefore in the current circumstances the farmhouse will not be serviced, there will be no cleaning or bedding changed during your stay.
Room facilities
We want our guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm and consider the farmhouse a sanctuary from the outside world, therefore we do not have televisions in the bedrooms. We offer free WIFI although please be aware, due to our location, the signal can be weak and not suitable for streaming video.
Can we explore the farm and gardens?
Yes, you are very welcome to explore the farm but please note we are a working farm with livestock so close all gates behind you and don’t pick food from the gardens without one of our gardeners present.
Accessibility
Unfortunately, as the farmhouse is a listed building with a steep staircase to the bedrooms, it is not accessible for wheelchair users. If you have any accessibility requirements, please call our team to discuss.
