We are delighted to announce that River Cottage and Cornwall College are partnering to develop a ‘River Cottage’ training kitchen at Cornwall College’s Bicton Campus. The facility will bring together the best of both organisations combining training and industry expertise.
River Cottage will deliver practical sessions through the purpose built training kitchen with eating area. The training kitchen will be situated in the grounds of the historic Bicton House, providing a spectacular environment for apprentices and diners.
We have taken the decision not to recruit new apprentices in 2019. We would like to reassure existing apprentices and their employers that they will be fully supported to successfully complete their programme.
We will work closely with employers and potential apprentices to ensure everyone is kept up to date with progress and look forward to welcoming you to Bicton during 2020 to see the new facility firsthand.
I could never have imagined all the things I would do and learn at River Cottage. The apprenticeship scheme has gone from strength to strength and I have no doubt it will continue to do so. Thank you so much for my year.
